Wow! I've been really busy growing up and stuff. Mom and Dad have been busy too and I just found out they haven't posted all the cool stuff I've been doing. Don't worry, I'll get them whipped into shape soon. I am working on growing up fast...my favorite thing to do is eat.

Today I was hanging out with Dad and Mom which was fun. Dad made me have tummy time, which I'm not real sure about but I gave it a shot. Here is a video of me today...you can tell I'm learning how to move myself around. I've turned over at daycare a few times already and I'll be ready to cruise the house eating dog hair in no time.

Mommy's Revenge

So last night I had a blast keeping mommy up all night! She was getting a little too secure with this whole sleep schedule so I had needed to let her know who was in charge..ME. Then today we had a battle of wills. She is under the impression that if she can keep me up during the day that maybe I will sleep longer at night. To keep me up she played photographer and I was her model. Here are some of my favorites.

St Patrick's Day 2009

I have been hearing all about the infamous St Patty Day Parade in Dallas for weeks now. It is apparently like Mardi Gras for Dallas. I am sure you have gathered by now that my dad is very proud of his Irish heritage. He even made my mom hang the crest in the house..not her style but neither are the beer signs in the kithcen..that is a whole nother issue. Anywho, I get all excited about the parade. Uncle Bryan and Aunt Denise are coming in town and we are going to meet Uncle Jeff and all my mom's friends. My Uncle Bryan even picked out and bought a new outfit for me and my mom had my new bib all ready for my St Patty debut. Let me tell you where I spent the day..with my mom! Thanks mother nature. It has been like 80 degrees and then on the day of the parade it is freezing and raining outside. Everyone else went to the parade and mom and I sat at home. I think she was more bitter than I was but we at least took some great pictures.

All this so I could tell you all to have a wonderful St Patty's Day and pinch someone you love!

Sorry for the delay but I have been a busy baby

I know it has been awhile since my last post but things have been a bit hectic. I have been spending most of my time eating so you can stop being worried. I am almost up to 9 pounds or so. I grew out of my newborn clothes and my newborn diapers. I go back to the doctor in about 2 weeks and then I will know exactly how much weight I have gained. I also go back to Children's Medical this Friday. If all goes well..no more bandage on my ear. WOOHOO! Silly thing itches and my daddy can not stop putting more glue on it. He does not know it but I am totally jacking with him by reaching up and pulling it off everytime he fixes it. My parents are great but it i so much fun messing with them. My latest is screaming my head off until someone holds me. Can you blame me? If you could be held 24/7, you would do the same thing. Cry it out methond my foot. Have you seen my baby blues..I can get away with anything.

Off to lunch. I will write more this weekend after my appt and post more pics.

What's all the fuss about?

Alrighty…sorry it’s been awhile since I’ve posted to the blog. I’ve been busy eating and pooping my diaper. It's been tough to get away and steal Dad's laptop. Other than digesting, I spend most of the day sleeping and then I like to wake up around 11pm or so and keep things hoppin’ around the crib until about 6 am. Sorry, folks that's just how I roll. Mom and Dad seem to be keeping up but I am giving them a run for their money. Speaking of which, Dad, I want to get some new rims for my stroller. Can you hook me up?

New pics should be up as soon as Picasa finally gets done uploading my albums. I swear, Mommy can get a full bottle of milk ready before these people get my pics posted!

Doing Great

Okay, so the first few days outside mom's womb were a little rough. I didn't know that I'd have to give up my ambilical cord when I was born. If they'd told me that during fetal orientation, I might have waited a few weeks before showing up. Oh well, it's all good in the crib.

Mom and Dad have been up every 2 hours to feed me, so I am gaining weight and I'm working my way through diapers like they are going out of style. I also showed Dad that he better be on his toes when he is changing me...those goggles and haz mat uniform Grandma and Grandpa gave him might be needed after all.

I will be posting some more pictures soon so all of you can see how great I am doing.

Tough first few days

Things have been a bit hectic since Friday night. Not only did my early arrival surprise everyone.. except Misti, Sarah & Jeff since they were just a few days off on my arrival date.. it also caused a litttle bit of stress to the doctors and of course for mom and dad. My weight went from 6.5 down to 5.6 rather fast so I have been busy visiting Dr Deuber quite a bit. I don't mind so much though. She is very sweet and kind of a babe so makes it all easier to see so much of her. I also had my first visit to Children's Medical today. All I can say is "WOW!" That place is huge and do not insert a joke about my size here because that would be in poor taste. ;)

I hope to have updates for you in the next few days as well as some pics of me that one day I will place on Match.com to find a woman my mom approves of. Shout out dad! Don't worry mom. I will be big enough for a Fossil watch before you know it.

Well Hello There World

Whew! I am finally here. After over 19 hours of labor, I decided to go meet mom, dad and the rest of the family. I ended up weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz and 18 3/4 " long. Mommy did real good and is tired but feeling fine. I will post some more pictures soon but here are a few to so you can all see what I look like. Scroll down to the very bottom of my blog to see a few more of my parents and I last night. More to come soon!

Today is my big day

Well, I think today is the day I should go ahead and meet my Mom and Dad. I woke her up at about 3:30 AM today by popping that sack of fluid I've been chilling out in. That was messy but sure was a lot of fun. After that, Mom and Dad seemed sort of surprised and then ran around the house for awhile before we headed out to something called a hospital. I don't know what that is, but I hope they have Dr. Pepper. Mom keeps talking about it and I think that is the sweet stuff she feeds me in the morning.

So far, Mom has been in this thing called labor for over 12 hours. At first, I was in a big rush to meet Mom and Dad but now I feel a little shy with all these new people hanging out around here. The doctor lady said that if I don't come out in a few hours, she may do a C section, whatever that means.

Weekly doctor's appt

This may mean nothing to some of you and then the moms may get it.

Today my mom was dilated 1 centimeter, 25% effaced and the station was -3. This seems exciting but Dr Dullye says I could come tonight or 3 weeks from now. I love to keep everyone guessing. I guess I deserved it when the doc hit my head with her finger. Sorry mom.

Great party!

Sorry I have not written sooner but I spent the weekend with family and friends galore! I am either very loved or these people really just like an excuse to drink. Either way, I had a blast. My mom said she would help me post some pics but so far everyone of them has her with a double chin so she has not exactly been forthcoming with directions on posting said pics. Either way, I will figure it out and have some great evidence of my fun and crazy weekend.

It may not be my due date but I am officially FULL TERM! I am also deciding if I am going to be an Aquarius or a Capricorn. I enjoy orange juice, kicking my mom's ribs and listening to my dad's ipod...

Weekly check up

Just a quick update. We went to see my new friend Dr Dullye on Tuesday. She said everything looks great and I should be here in the next few weeks. Mommy is supposed to prop her feet up and take it easy..so if you see her, tell her to drink some water and rest.

Pregnancy Party

Some of mom's friends are throwing a party this Saturday so mom and dad can get lots of goodies that I need. Apparently I need a car seat to even go home with them but I am more interested in the toys. Hope everyone can make it. Please do not make fun of how big mommy is or that she can not drink. She may cry or yell at you. She will blame me but we all know she is crazy.

Baby Donnelly's arrival is just around the corner!

My mom's friends at work have a calendar with all the dates that the HR team has guessed as being the big day. So far the majority seems to think it will be the week of the 19th. Mom would love that. Uncle Steve's birthday is the 19th, V's is the 20th, Kathryn's is the 23rd and Amy is on the 24th. I would share a birthday week with some pretty awesome people!
